My favoritest knife and sheath..

Not sure if I ever showed this sheath, and I am pretty sure I never showed the knife off.

Here it is. My dad has had this knife for several years, and I always tried to talk him out of it. He used it in the kitchen...
Well, he finally accepted a trade of another suitable kitchen knife from the same maker.
I made the sheath for it, as the one that it was in had no loop or means of carry other than stuffed in a pocket....

It is made by a semi local guy down in North Central Kansas. We try to buy one of his knives every year at the gun show. I carry a damascus blade he made as my everyday knife. This one is for hunting, and also hangs on the back of my gunbelt (which also goes hunting).

The large spot in the middle has showed the problem with Tandy spots, in that the plating has come off to show the steel underneath. I need to replace them with real brass spots one of these days.

I like them but must disagree with your assessment on the center spot.  I would be wanting the rest of those spots to shed their skin also, then some patina would go great with the overall look.

Thanks everyone. I love that knife, and had lusted after it for almost 10 years. It is a little razor too. I worry about putting it back in the sheath if I get it out for anything. That tip is very very pointy and sharp.

AWESOME knife and sheath!!!!!! I think that you did a SUPER job on designing the sheath to match the knife!!!!! That is one thing that is hard to do, and make it look awesome, and you did it!!!
