Can someone help me out with a Saddle Hardware Source Please? D's, 3 inch Welded Rings, Roller Buckles etc...
I'm pretty much ready to start rigging pack saddles.

I got all my hardware from Weaver Leather. You have to have a resale no. to buy from them.
Tandy Also has all of them.

Duke, pm David Carrico, he has a lot of hardware for saddles. I am sure he can save you a ton!

NO to getting around the resale number requirement from Weaver. Believe me I've tried!

There is actually a way around the Weaver, if it is the place I called a few years ago.   Around here you go to a farm supply store that sells tack, usually they can order it and resell it to you (marked up of course).  I believe Weaver gave me a list of "dealers" in my area.

Not to be argumentative Mongo, but that would not be "Going around" the resale number to me. I can buy whatever I need from Weaver through several local distributors. I use Oregon Leather because they buy all of their horse tack related stuff from Weaver, and they are happy to take my money and order specific tools in for me.

What I can't do is order direct without that resale number, which you can only get with a business license. I don't know how it is anywhere other than Oregon, but here it's not just a matter of giving the state some money for a license. They want to make sure your "Place of business" fits through all sorts of hoops. So far it's way too much hassle for a hobbyist like me.
