I have a Baikal IZH43 (single trigger model)

After my gunsmith has had the weapon for almost seven months, I am ready to pic it up and send it to someone who is comfortable with Baikals; someone who works with them regularly.

Any suggestions? On another thread Dirt Merchant and Goatneck Clem were suggested, but there is now no profiles shown on cascity for either individual.

I would be especially pleased if some owners of the IZH43 would share their experiences with gunsmiths and getting Baikal parts.

If you want to remain private about your experiences, please email me; my address is on my profile....

Thanks!

I don't personally care for the Baikal (too light) and I don't work by mail.  So I can't recommend me.  But, if I were to shoot a Baikal, I'd send it to Steve Young, AKA: Nate Kiowa Jones.  Probably the best Baikal guy I know.

Contact him at Stevesgunz.com ..... Ornery cuss at times, nut damd good at what he does at a fair price.
