Winchester 1876 Dust Cover Spring for original?

Anybody know where I can get one of these?  The "tab" on mine is broken off and the cover slides back and forth freely.

Will an 1873 spring work?  I have the '76 with the broken spring, but don't have a '73 to try.

I looked at the repro schematics to see if one of those might work, but they appear to use a coil spring and ball instead of a leaf spring.

Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks--

Good selection, quality parts, many that are HARD to find, prices are high but worth it if you can't find parts any place else.

   Good luck,

If you had a photo of the part, you'd possibly try to make one. I assume it is a bigger version of the 1873 spring. This is a flat spring.

Thanks, all, for the pointers.  I found the repro that John Taylor pointed me to and am inquiring of Buckingham's against the possibility of an original lying around.  I appreciate your help, because for some reason I just was not turning these sources up in my search.
