This one is going to take two years to finish Hopefully I can get it finished this weekend. Still have to decide on the backing color.  Been A long time since I did any carving and it ain't like riding a bicycle

GB...I bet that filagree wouldn look really good with some very thin pigskin suede in RED..similar to the lining on the Flames From Hell Holster....I think the cut outs are two small for the rattlesnake scales to show through.

Gun Click...is Floyd real or just an ornament?  I would think the wiener's would get at it if it was real....I know my three would be de-stuffing it looking for a squeaker

  Outrider, funny you should say that. Except for beadwork I have always kept the leather items I've done in very muted colors but this one just screams for something that will pop out at you, don't it.  Very good suggestion my friend, I am going to have to roll that one around for awhile. I got to go to the leather store for some rawhide so I think I will see what they have in their scrap bin
