Found a lost video of me playing my native flute for my duaghter at her wedding July this year.We thought we lost this part cuase my battery died right when i started playing,but my brother captured it on his camera and sent it to me via youtube.I came up with the tune and titled it "Wedding at WhiteHorse" that's the name of the area we are at.

     Very nice Rick, looks like you've been playing a flute for some time to be that good, I have one and was never able to get it to sound as good as you did yours, I have a two CD's of a fella that sounds really good and performs Indian songs, I like listening to it, it sooth's  the soul.

                         Thanks for sharing, I know your Daughter will never forget her Wedding.

Yep it sure does.Try highspirits.com flutes,that's where i got mine,the secret is to use the meaty part of your fingers and keep the holes totally covered.Run up and down the scales until you get bored doin that and close your eyes while ya do it too.Like doe ray me.Once ya got that your pretty much good to go.When i go to the mountians i get real quite and listen to the sounds and try to recreate what i hear.

Played harmonica this evening at my uncles memorial,just got back.Played"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire.He like to listen to me play.

   So you play Harmonica too, my Dad played too, he had several that he used, and like to play them electric, great sounding, I still have them some place around the house, when I was a kid, my Mom played piano and Dad on the Harmonica, and I played the guitar, we use to really kick it up, great fun, sounds like you play the harmonica pretty well too. Thanks for sharing this Rick. and when I get the flute down again I'll give your advice a try, and thanks for the info.

Hey Ten Wolves,i bet that is some of your favorite memories when your ma and paw were singin and playin.Kind of like the all is right in the world huh..

I never did any electric work but once,did some back up on a friends bands cd in a college studio.I did learn i didn't have to blow half as hard though,surprise! I liked it,did it on one take,i was listening to the others on head phones and playin,was just amazing to me,i'v always been a campfire player,but i sure wished i had a recording studio

Rick... you're obviously a man of many talents.  I do love Indian flute music.  Alway wanted to try it myself.  I blow a mean harmonica myself.  Great idea to play at your daughter's wedding.  God bless.

Too cool DBC,hit me wid a little"whammerjammerlemeheryadigger!!!! I never could play that one,a little John Mayall but mostly country and folk music.It's weird man,i got my cousin started years ago by givin him a harmonica and he jams reall good rock and blues,but has a heck of a time playing my style and i have a heck of a time playin his..
