Hmmm, interesting. Is that a white enamelware basin inside that lodge there? That would be suggestive of a later date, was it not the mid-1880's before they even began making colors beyond grey in this country. I know, there are references to enameled iron pots in the CW but I think those were European and rare. I think Forsyth was taking photos well into the 20th century wasn't he?
