Howdy Pards,

Thought I'd throw up a few pics of Ole' Shotgun's new Dagger and see what yall think.

This'n here is 1095 high carbon with a Used but not Abused type of patina and a 3 3/4" blade.
Black walnut handle scales with mild steel pins finished withed Tru-Oil and left un buffed for a subtle oil finish without the shine.

In keeping with period correct materials Steve requested a carbon steel boot clip which is an item that connot just be purchased off the shelf.  What I came up with is a hand forged 1095 clip in what I think is a traditional blacksmith style riveted with 2 copper washers and a mild steel pin.  I did heat treat the clip and give it a spring temper for flexability while maintaining the strength not to deform or break with use.

Sheath is constructed with 8-9 oz veg tanned leather an lined with 3-4 oz. She's dyed with Eco-Flo antique gel and finished with Satin Sheen inside and out.

Don't be shy now Pard's,  Let's hear what yall think-   Josh  ;D

She'll be in the mail today Steve ! ;)

Just as clean as a whistle Josh! I'm really likin' the reverse twisted clip, which is a very nice touch ;D

Hey Josh...it looks pretty darn good Pard. The twisted clip on the sheath looks pretty cool too. The sheath color
is close to my gunbelt...nice job. I look forward to having it in hand. Thanks again.
