Well, I got home last night to find a long box waiting for me. Inside was a Navy Arms (Pietta) 12 Guage SxS that I bought a couple of weeks ago off Gunbroker. It was manufactured in 1993 and is in excellent condition save a scratch here or there. Builds character, right? Anyway, since I have decided to focus on Pistoleer, I thought this would be a good mate with my Spencer, Henry , 1858's and 1861's. I've wanted a sxs like this since the early 1970's when I was in college. Alas, I was too poor to afford one in those days. Would love to hear from others here who are using ML SxS's in Pistoleer.  ;D

Preacher Clint,

Now you've done it! ;) ;D ;D

The person to palaver with is Lone Gunman. He has shot Pistoleer in the past, and would have many good tips on loading your percussion 12 ga.
At one time he had a special gun cart made out of a 19th cent. steamer trunk on a hand cart that had a custom made rack to hold his sXs upright while he loaded it. It was a beauty to behold.

Some of the guys from Indiana shoot Pistoleer:  SHB, OCB, and Jed Cooper all shot Pistoleer as the SW regionals last fall.

I've used a 10 ga. ML a couple of times while shooting BP Duelist. Shortly after I got it though I got hooked on WC.

ML shotguns are a lot of fun. There is a Muzzleloading club in my area that holds trap shoots with them. That is really a ball.
