Hi, I'm needing a little help....   :-[

I have a pair of Ruger NM .44s. I purchased the Power Custom Hammer/Trigger Kit. I took the guns apart according to the steps in The Ruger SA Revolvers, Shop Manual, Volumes 1 & 2. No problems replacing the parts or assembly until after its all together. When the barrel is pointed up the action works great. When the barrel is pointed down the transfer bar does not move back far enough to clear the firing pin. I have repeated the steps 3 times all with the same results....

What am I missing?????

Thanks

;D Yep.  If you do it often, you should look into the spring clamp tool thingie too.  It depresses the spring that holds the front pin in place.

Take care,
