Just skimmed thru the Talley Book.

My 1873 peace makers (Original Colt clones) in 45 Colt are allowed.

I believe my 1866 (if I replace the aluminum carrier) in 45 Colt is also acceptable.

My TNN SxS is good.

Perhaps my cart, painted stage coach red with yellow wood spoke wheels is OK.

Closest Club is just under a 3 hour ride.  I just might mosey on over this winter.

Am I thinking right on my '66?

Pinkertons are a bit upset about a Yankee train shipment of gold that never reached it's destination...so all I can say publicly is that presently I'm south of the Michigan state line.

Paradise Pass west of Warsaw, Indiana has a range dedicated to CAS.  It is used once a month to host Cutter's Raiders.  Here's a link of the range layout:  http://www.cuttersraiders.com/PP/Stages/cutter-stages.htm  If'n you have group that is interested I can PM you the Mayor's contact info.

Matthew:

1) You're right about your 66 (provided it isn't short-stroked etc as well).
2) I'm guessing the club you mentioned (just under 3 hours) might be the Great Lakes Freight & Mining Co. (my home club). I know we'd be proud to have you join us anytime. Even in the winter, we'll be there on the 2nd Sunday. If it gets too brutally cold and nasty, we still show up and spend most of the day in the Co. HQ drinkin' coffee, playin' cards, eatin' chili or beans (it's OK...  it's well enough ventilated), tellin' tall tales and cozyin' up to the woodstove.

No short stroked kit in my '66!

You gueessed right, GLF&M Co...leathered sole boots ain't a lot of comfort during a Indiana winter...Might be closer to Spring.

Matthew,

Since the "not nearly so mighty" Furball shot the NCOWS National match with us Texans, hwy not see if there are other members of Cutters Raiders who might be interested in starting a NCOWS Posse.  We found that a good number of our SASS club members wanted to do so and now we are a NCOWS Posse as well as a SASS affiliated club.

The six of us who attended the NCOWS National liked it so much our posse just finished hosting the first NCOWS SW REgional.

BE WARNED you WILL enjoy NCOWS!
