Definitely British, the shoulder shape and 'broad arrow' mark are unmistakable. The socket looks too small for a .58 Enfield rifle musket. I think this is for a later model, maybe a Martini-Henry? The bayonet can be cleaned, polished and reblued, but the scabbard is in bad shape. IMO it's worth a lot more than the $55.09 being bid on it at this time.

St. George

I've noticed a lot of these having come from 'International Military Antiques' and 'Atlanta Cutlery Company' - all having originated in Nepal, from a old Armory.

'Some' are real, British manufacture - many are not, having been produced locally, but properly marked.

You see them in the Bazars in Afghanistan, too - popular, because they can be easily shipped home.

Vaya,

Pattern 1873 socket bayonet for the Martini-Henry rifle, near as I could tell  - pretty rough shape.
