My Favorite Knife & Sheath...

I didn't make this but since knife sheaths are a focus right know I thought I would share my favorite knfe and sheath. It is a Damascus Steel with walnut handle. The Sheath has several layers of heavy leather bonded together making a very ridgid sheath. then a snake skin is bonded to the top surface and stained. The belt loop gives it a slight forward cant. Its not Western but I really value it.

Thanks, KT. I bought it at a local gun show. It was supposed to be a famous knife maker, but it isn't signed so I don't know who. Doesn't matter, I wouldn't part with it .

Nice looking piece, but just to inform you, it's not snakeskin, its Ostrich legskin.About 90% of my work is with exotics and I use ostrich leg alot.Dave

Shows you how much I know. By the way, is this one of your knives? I got it at a crossroads gun show, amd to be honest your name sounds familiar, as the guy told me who made it but I just didn't write it down. I'm old and I have slep since then....

No problem on not knowing it, I just work with it all the time and have an exotic hide dealer near my shop.Sorry, not my knife,all my knives are marked with my name.Dave
