Sights tip

I've started carrying a small zip lock with a small wad of OOOO steel wool. I've found that a few strokes over the brass sights on rifle shotgun and pistol brightens then greatly. Make it much easier to pick them up in low light or heavy smoke. Once a day seems to be plenty.

Good tip, I periodically clean the "black" off the brass blades of ny 1860s.

That is IF you actually had front sights on your 60's.....

Well...MOST of my 1860s have sights. In fact I have my pair of Piettas all tuned up and ready for the weekend.

Gunfighter....probably noo...but maybe on the new class "gumfighter"
Hopefully be warm enough for me to shoot C&B...but I have a backup plan

Yep, "gumfighter" for me. I'm so slow I had to make up a category just for me.
