I had the opprotunity to shoot a pair of New SASS Ruger Vaqueros a couple of weeks ago. Stainlees steel in .357/.38 special with the new Montado hammer and hard rubber checkered grips, this pistol felt very comfortable in the hand. The action was very smooth with a nice clean trigger pull. I shoot duelist and the Montado hammer made it very easy to cock with my slightley arthritic hand. The hammer did not come clear back into the web between the thumb and forefinger as some pistols do. Accuracy was good with rounds hitting in a 6 to 7 inch circle in the middle of a 16x16 target at 7 yards (at speed).

Overall, a real nice pistol thats comfortable to shoot duelist. As I shoot Classic Cowboy I sure hope they come out in .45, I'll have a pair!
