Boy, I have a whole new respect for carvers, especially Sheridan carvers. This class is kickin my butt! Knucklehead is doing pretty good as far as I'm concerned, but he might see it differently. Chan is an excellent teacher, and I've seen a lot. I don't say learned a lot, because I'm not sure how much I can retain, but it's certainly been good practice, both stamping and carving.

We're making a cover for a 3 ring binder, and tomorrow we do some assembly, buck stitching and apply some finish, though maybe not in that order. As I said in my previous post, most of the people there have been to one or more of Chan's classes, and I can see why. It's been an excellent opportunity, and I'm grateful for the chance to be there. There are several saddle makers in attendance, and a number of people with various kinds of leather businesses.

If anyone has a chance to attend one of Chan's classes, I would highly recommend it.
