No reason to be embaressed Rick, we all have to start somewhere. Most of my first stuff is taking up space in a landfill somewhere! ;D

Rick,

I think that the maker is his own worst critic most of the time.

The average person seeing it is blown away..... it is only the creator of the project that knows all the pitfalls and goofs in the project ..... *S*
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Howdy Rick,
No reason in the world to be embaressed about your knife sheath!!!!!!! I agree with the other pards, it looks great!!! We all start at some point, and if we chose to work harder to get better, some of us do and some don't, some of us don't catch on as fast as others! But I think you are off to a great start!!! And if you want to improve you are at the right place!!! I have been playing with leather for around 2 years or so, and there are a lot of pards on here that started a few months ago that are 10 times better than I am right now!!
I know for fact that I will get better, but how much better, that we will have to see!! One thing I do know is, if I don't try to improve, I won't!!! For me, the main reason to show my stuff, is for those that view it let me know what I need to improve on!!!! The kind words that every one gives is a great thing, but those that give the flowers and advise me what I did right or wrong, is how we all learn!! That is one reason we have the pm system, if someone wants to advise in private we have that option!! My  feeling would be hurt if a pard on here seen something I could do better and didn't let me know how to do it!!
I have had a ton of help, from the pards on here, and my mentor (TW) has went way beyond the call of duty and advise me so much that I keep the fire inside burning to improve!!
Your doing Great!!
