ya it could be done from a tracing Rick but if at all possible its best to have it in hand for final forming

Rick, I think a suspender holster (assuming its as small as that) would be great for that.
That or a small hip pocket type holster that you could wear in a vest pocket, with the handle sticking out the top of the vest for effect.

Hey Rick,

I just answered a similar thread for Peacemaker Pancho ....

Anyway, here is a suspender holster whose idea might be able to be made to work for you too.....
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Well Rick,

Since you asked, I don't have a life ... no wife, no relationship. So rather than brood I spend a lot of time on the internet when I am not volunteering ... LOL.

I ran into this while looking for something to replace my 'hunter' style holster for my little 1863 Remington Pocket Pistol Conversion ... and think I will get one made for that little puppy .... the 'hunter' holster takes up too much space on the gunbelt, and doesn't match the other holsters ... plus, these pocket pistols were made to be hidden, not worn in plain sight ....

WW,
How does your pistol in size compare to the 1849 Colt pocket pistol? I made Muddy Creek Sam a holster for his 1849 Colt, it was a belt holster, but I have a idea for a in the waist type holster?
Let me know how the 2 compare?

Ace,

The 1863 Remington Pocket Pistol is about 8" from the botton rear of the grip to the tip of the barrel ... mine has had a traditional brass trigger guard added and is a .32 S&W conversion, but the conversion would not change the holster like the trigger guard might ....

I'll attach a pic of a normal 1863 Remington Pocket Pistol and a pic of mine ....
