I just received one in the mail from Midway today and cast a few hundred tonight. It was on clearance for a few bucks off, so I thought I'd try it out. The big drawback is it's a single cavity mould. It drops out at about .513" and weighs in at around 357 grains. The nose profile is virtually identical to the 340 grain bullet that Ten-X uses in their factory ammo, and it functions much better in my particular rifle than the modified Lee mould. The only real difference I can see between the RCBS and the Ten-X bullet is that the RCBS is slightly longer below the lube groove, adding the extra weight.

Here's a pic of all three; Lee on the left @ about 322 grains, RCBS in the middle @ about 357 grains, and the Ten-X on the right @ about 340 grains - I lubed the Ten-X for uniformity in the pic - they are NOT lubed as they come loaded from Ten-X.

What kind of grease do you use ?

I have the Rapine 350 T mould. It works well with double Cavities. The grease I am usind is SPG. The results with Schweizer 1 Black powder are greate.

This will sound kind of funny, but I don't know what it is.

I used to work in a lead smelter and we had some large nodulizer drums with continuous greasing systems on the races consisting of a piece of square tubing containing solid grease sticks dropped in from the top every couple of days. These sticks are about 2 1/2" square and a foot or so long and the consistency of stiff putty. Lithium? Molybdenum? I don't know, but it's always worked well.
