Arcey:  Are those both GWIIs one with an all blue finish and one with case colors from Turnbull?  If so, they look like 1st gen Colts from a distance.

Arcey

Hey, VG.

Ask Curley. I saw he tried to post the pic 'n it didn't display. I just fixed it was all. Gonna fix it proper now. Been kindah busy.

Look back ta page two.

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

Thanks for the repair job. I didn't know others could not see it. It was workin out here on at least me and the little womans computers.

Anyways, the top gun was a Colt I bought myself with my vacation/sicktime when I retired. The bottom gun is one of the last all blue GW2 available from EMF. Debbie was holding it back and she decided one day it was time to pop it out and show me..As I was driving home I decided it was just hollering for the Colt grips. I had more than one gunsmith tell me they could make it a Colt for all intents and purposes, with a couple of roll stamps they had.

Those are two very nice looking guns and the GWII is a dead ringer for an older Colt, but if that is a 3rd gen Colt it looks great too as sometimes you get one that is made right.

Arcey

It was just a missed bracket.

Gonna go back ta lurkin'. Y'all have a good time.

BTW, nice lookin' pistols.

Here's a Picture of my GW2 with Tru-Ivory grips and an Inlay by Kirk Ratajasek.

I installed a set of 1860 grip frames and sent that off to Tru-Ivory for them to fit the grips and have the inlay I sent installed by Kirk.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

Nice guy....that is what Old Top did..he also installed the 1860 grip..(now you can get it that way from the factory in the Alchimista.)
