I've just looked in the Tandy catalog. There's what they call a 'Border Tool'. #3204. Is that it? Skeet

Skeet the # 3204 will work for straight cuts, but I think you want to use it on a holster where there are curves? ??? :-\

10W, you're right. I want to do curves parallel to the edges of the holster. I'll use your technique if there isn't a specific tool but if there is, that would be cool.

Yeah, I know I should learn to eyeball it.  Skeet

  Howdy Skeeter

I wish I was that good at eyeballing things, I can with somethings, but when it comes to borders, I either use my WING DIVIDERS, or my STITCH GROOVER, either one is adjustable, with the winner being the wing divider, I find it to be easy using the divider, especially if your purpose is to use your swivel knife, you want your leather cased first, then make your line with the divider, and when using and cutting your line try to keep your knife at 90 degrees, this will make using the beader blade a lot easier, the beader blade needs a nice 90 degree cut so it can track right, and keep the beader cut looking nice and neat, practice on scrap first, just to get the feel and see what I'm talking about, if anything you will see why it is important to keep your first cut with your swivel knife straight.

Have fun , and let me know how it went
