Click on the main page and check out the number of views for several of the threads!
10 - 11 -12 - 17 -18 THOUSANDS of views for several of the threads.  Then go to several of of back pages - 14 - 16, etc HUNDREDS of views.

Threads have settled down lately but folks are stiill coming and looking.  This tells me, it's The Have's and The Have Nots.  Meaning more folks are interested and wanting a '76 then those that have one.  Right now, there are 21 folks on the board and 19 are Guests.

Based on the existing descriptions of the threads, we have pretty much flushed out the issues, recipes and general questions.  So our new threads are now starting to subside.  But for folks that want a '76, they have a great resource related to the Winchester 1876

Maybe it is time for our good Moderator, Grizzly, if he would ... review some of the more important threads and put them up on the front page as Stickys or possible start a Library of the more important ones.  Just a suggestion

So reach over your back and give yourself a big pat on the back for making the Board what it is and will continue to be.  Okie Dookie?  It's been a Great Ride  :)  Thank You All!

Hi, John.

Thanks for the post, and for the suggestion. :)  I will try to glean some of the threads to be preserved as stickies.

Aside from the combat shotgun articles, the 1876 is the most searched and read topic on my blog.  AT LEAST 3 hits a day since I started.  People are indeed interested.
Sincerely,

Hobie

Hobie:
Glad to be able to read some new stuff.  Here for awhile I was beginning to think that folks gave up on this site.  i agree with Grizz that there ought to be some stickies here as we have all contributed lots of good stuff.  It is too bad that we can't all have a '76 but there are folks who just like to read and dream.  This has been a worthwhile project for me and since I do have a '76, I have started my own writeup that is and has been in the works for sometime.  The stuff that I read on this site has really helped me and i hope that some of the information that I have put in has helped other folks too.  So, keep at it. ;)
