What style saddle?

This is at a friends antique store here in town.I could not find a makers mark on the outside anywhere.She is asking 150.00,to much?The only bad spot other than wear is the seat where the stitching is comeing apart..

 Rick, the stlye is what we use to call a "slick roping saddle", because of the very low cantle. A lot of poeple thought this stlye was much easier to mount and dismount faster when roping. 
It doesn't have any real age to it, probably 30 to 40 yrs is my guess. The price your friend has on it sounds fair as long as the tree is solid.
The seat can be taken off or if someone just wants to do it, I have seen a saddle like that taken apart and a new seat stitched in. But it ain't cheap. There are a lot of examples of that stlye around and if it didn't have any sentimental value it would just cost to much to fix.
As it sits right now if the tree is solid I would remove the padded seat and you could get many years of good use out of it.

PS....  Some poeple also called this a "cutter" stlye and if you google Circle Y saddles you can see what they are asking for a used one.

Well i been around ropers and riders since i have liived here,but never paid much attention to the details of such.I just learned a little somethin,thanks for the info.I was good at operating heavy equipment for years,if it quit runnin i knew it was broke and i let the mechanic worry about the details..A loader is for loading,a grinder is for grinding,nothin to it

Looks like a Big Horn reining saddle. Notice how the seat is formed, slanting toward the cantle, nice deep pocket for sittin down in. Cuttin saddles generally have a flat seat. Horn is not a roping horn, as it slants to far forward and wouldn't hold a dally. I agree that it is 30 to 40 years old. $150 is a pretty cheap price if it is in as good shape as you say and has a solid tree. Most saddles of this brand in my part of the country (central Missouri ) would bring around $250 or better.
