Howdy Doc......
I read your artical on your web site. It's great! I kind of do almost the same thing when I dry fire. I sit/stand in my computer room and fire at different things higher or lower and close/far. I do the same thing in my garage, the targets are a little farther away. I dry fire at things on shelves higher and lower. As I move farther around the distance changes. It helps some, but I just don't do it as a regular thing.
I think I need to read your book!!!

Good shootin......

Doc, I don't get to dry fire much.  I can't find any snap caps in 44 Russian for my S&Ws.  I tried 44 magnums snap caps with another break top Smith but they didn't work.  I don't remember why, something with the star ejector I think. ???

Great article, Doc!

Calam,
You are always the voice of reason. ;)

Will,
You can make your own "snap caps" for your .44 Russians. Deprime some cases and fill the primer pockets with silicone caulk. I did this for my Rem '75s in .45 Colt.

Don't know any reason why we can't have these kind of helpful posts.

Please.. more of them.
In fact a link to your videos would be a good thing as well.

Adios,

Doc Shapiro

I'm glad ya'll are finding it helpful!

Always on the lookout for new topics.  Part of the problem is that I'm so close to training that I don't know what to write about.  This one came about because I discovered a particular problem of my own and wrote about how I'm solving it.

So, suggestions for topics would be welcome!
