I am looking for a reasonable price for this gun. It holds 10 rounds of 357.

I've looked on gun Broker etc. and there are none for sale.

Spring River Slade is wanting to sell this one.

How are prices running on the Winchesters?

This is getting interesting. There is one Winchester 1894 in 357 on any of the gun sites that I have looked at. There are a lot more 32-20 and 38-55s in original guns.  Have they all been pulled by collectors?

Ho Noz.......

This is purely my own experience pard, and so take from it what you will......... ;D

About 8yrs ago I bought a Brand Spank New `94 Winchester 357 Trapper, I was `over the moon with it it was the first `real Winchester` I had owned and couldnt wait to get it to the range. . :D
A week or so later me `n` Annie `O`  arrived at the range ta christen her, and this is when my joy turned to dispair!! I loaded three different types of round (I`d been shootin 357s fer years before the Pistol ban so I knew correct lengths etc), they all fed fine when I cycled the action slowly but whenever I tried to speed it up any it jammed solid!!
I brought it back to the Gundealer and picked it up 2 weeks later(sposidly all fixed), brought it to the range and exactly the same thing happened. To cut a long story short I got my money back from the gundealer and bought myself a 45LC `n` lurv blossomed agin!! I have since heard that some pards had mega problems with their Trappers and others swear by them,  Again this is what happened to me!! and I could have got a duff one!! ::)

Happens sometimes...when one chambers a pistol ca'tride in a design made fer rifle length rounds. The 94 is a great gun, but it really wasn't intended for our pistol cartridges when it was concieved, and it doesn't always werk all that well with them.

There are no .32-20's in the 94 line.  The 94 was designed for rifle length cartridges, i.e., .32-40, .30-30, .38-55, etc.  The 94 in .357 is a modern iteration of the 94 that was cobbled together to try and get it to fire pistol length ammo.  It didn't work well and while a passable light hunting rifle (since you don't normally need more than one or two rounds), it is probably the worse rifle there is for CAS shooting.

I agree, but at the time, it was the best we could afford to get Slade into the game.
Now he has progressed to the point that he realizes that the winchester is slowing him down and wishes to "trade up".  The interesting thing is that I have found one cowboy caliber 94 Winchester for sale on all of the gun auction sites I've looked at.   Many, many in other calibers. 32 Specials, 30 WCF, 38-55s etc.
It makes me wonder if the cowboy calibers haven't suddenly become collectors pieces.

I have a Trapper in 45LC that I use as a backup to my 45 LC Henry.  This Winchester is probably one of the new models made outside the US. It got it real cheap, so I'm gonna hang on to it.

A lot of guns that didn't quite work out are now high dollar collector's guns. Find out how many were made and how many years that model in that caliber was available. Go to a gunshow and look for one like you want to buy it. You'll find an asking value pretty quick.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.
