Howdy All
I know none of you knew him but one of my students was killed on his motorcycle Sunday afternoon.
He had only been doing leather work for 8 monthss but was really having fun with it.

Bad news, one less leatherworker is never good to hear, no matter how long they've spent at the bench!!

Hope his family get past this & come out the other side ok

Wc,

I think it always seems hardest on those of us left behind to grieve. Lets hope that where he is, the leather is perfect quality and takes the shape and color he wants effortlessly....

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Wayne, I am very sorry to hear of your friend's accident and death. As fellow riders, we always hate to hear about one of our brothers going down. My condolances to you and to his extended family. I'm also glad to hear that you and Sandi made it home safely from Piru Sunday. Our prayers will be with you all.

Outrider, I did not know about your son, and I am so sorry to hear abour your loss as well. A good friend, who is currently painting our house lost a son in a traffice accident not long ago. The young man was a passenger. The grief and loss to not go away anytime quickly. You are in our prayers as well.

Sorry about your loss, WC.  Never an easy thing to deal with.

Been riding Harleys for over 30 years. By the grace of God, I always get back home safely.
Always a sad thing to hear a fellow rider lost.
Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie? ....

Howdy WC,

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your friend and student.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
