lol,..I wasn't really excited when the wife told me we were getting that TiVo thing ith dish satellite. It records like a ton of movies right there in the box.

Well,....let me tell ya,..when a spahgetti western marathon comes on ,..it's the thing to have !!

I've already got , "For a few dollars more"," Josey Wales","The good bad & ugly","Pale rider",and  "Two Mules"..recorded in that thing! I'm pretty well hell bent against technology lol, but every once in awhile something cool comes along and tickles my fancy.
Heck I've evn got most of the "King of the Hill" episodes stored up in there,....now THERE'S some fine television

I am fortunate to have the DVR, but also have a DVD recorder. I am able to drop the DVR stuff down to a dvd so I tape the cowboys show and give it to Old Top

I also for years have recorded stuff to vhs and now to dvd. Then I make my own movie covers for the box. (i actually made a better cover for Wild Bill than the real dvd had...)

These days it ain't much harder than doin a vhs recordin. Hit record button and when done, ya hit "finalize" to close the recordin and make it work on other dvd players.

the covers, ya make em in Paint Shop Pro, print em up and stick em in a dvd case...

recorder only cost about $250 and it records both vhs and dvd, got em at Target.

The way I do it it could be.

I don't have much patience right now. A good friend of mine (who is a State Employee) and because of the 3 furlough days a month, she hasn't been able to pay her bills, well, she attempted suicide. Yay gov. arnold...nice job.
