Many of you will remember Kate from the wire and from shooting with her back east.  She's a great lady and a good friend.

I just got this from her and felt like I had to pass it along.  I already sent my prayers and will send what money I can.

Are you still doing CAS? If you are, I want to ask a huge favor of you but don't feel obligated ok? When you shoot your next match, could you mention me and what's been happening (open heart, rod in my spine, sternum reconstruction, etc, ect,) and see if people would shoot a stage for me and donate any amount of money to help me out. Social security, in their infinate wisdom said I'm not disabled and refused my application even though I've been off of work for over a year now with no end in sight yet. I reapplied but won't hear anything until mid-late Oct.

I applied for and am recieving public assistance. I get 200.00 financial assistance and my rent is 300.00 a month. The man I am renting a room from is accepting that until I get SS. I hope they fix me well enough to be able to do something employment wise if I get turned down again and I better heal really fast!!

Anyway, give it some thought and let me know. Like I said though, you don't have to.
