Sir, I have the pleasure of reporting that I will be officially pinned on and sworn in as an O-5 (CDR for USCG) on 01 Jul 09.

The ceremony will be at USCG HQ in DC.

It has taken almost 9 full months to clear up to my number but hey the USCG is very small and over 100 of my peers still await their date.
