Ok a little advice from you old timers is needed i bought a 51 conv shot about 200 rounds throufg it and the boldt spring that holds the cindler in place has broke , order ing one is no big deal my quistion is what did i do to cause this to happen. it is my favort peace and i will get a mate to it, i allso have a thunder 3.5 in barell that has given me no trouble. when i took the 51 apard the bolt spring fell apart in my hand was it just a bad one or do i need to order a speceal one i shoot it a lot more that the thunder (note i have been shooting smokless powder) but am going to switch to the dark side on both wepons will this help??

Probably just a bad spring. Since you want to use the pistol for serious shooting you may want to consider installing a replacement of the piano wire kind. That's what I did in all my shooters and had nod broken bolt springs after the replacements.
