navy arms 1873 ?'s

anyone familiar with this model,? i have one ,i think ,it has no model name or number other than navy arms import on bbl. has 4 5/8's bbl and appears to have had an actions job has it is very smooth, polished blue bbl w/ cch frame, backstrap is blued, am i correct, or what is it? anyone know of approx value? any help appreciated........................Warren T Upp   btw it's an .45lc

            Sounds like a Uberti, Navy Arms is just one of the many distributors for Uberti. As for its worth check out the prices on Uberti 1873 SAA, that should give you an idea.

I have one lust like it. Bought it about 18 years ago,I think, it was brand new.
The box has Uberti on it but the gun is stamped Navy Arms.
Paid 250. for it back then ,don't know about used prices.
Can't be worth more than that i would think.

Navy Arms has always put out a quality product for the price. I have owned several NA guns from 1851 Navy Colts to '66 Yellowboys and always were pleased with them.

Your gun with the action job, depending on condition, from $250 and up - used.  Italian guns just do not have a very good resale value.

I've been using the 'Navy' '73 for about 6 years. I like it better than a stock Uberti. I know it supposed to be a stock Ubeti but mine has a better action. With a 200 gr lead RNFP bullet at about 800 fps mine shoots dead on at CAS ranges. When the weather is bad or the gun might get banged around I carry my Navy instead of a Colt.
