What would be the Herco equivalent load?
Thanks

Herco has been around for at least 75 years and is a wonderful powder for heavy hunting loads in 10-28 gauge shotgun and heavy loads in non-magnum shandgun rounds.  since your 7 grs of Unique is below what Alliant recomends I am hoping you have Lab developed data to support this.

Herco ain't gonna be forgiving on less than recomended charges, I would consider 8 grs cause it don't operate well below the designed operating pressures.  Still an very good powder for it's intend uses, it has lost it's popularity because it don't leave the pistol squeeky clean.  I myself never let that bother me on loads that work well, but it seems to be a concern for a lot of folks today.  If you want clean burning. don't bother.

Silver Creek Smith,
Thanks for the link.
I searched all over Google for something like that.
I figure 7 gr. Unique is about 7.8  or 8 gr. of Herco
