Doc O

I recently got a pair of SAA's, and they each needed a new house.
Here is what I came up with.
Hope this works.

The 4 loop is taken from Packen Iron.

Welcome to the Leather Shop Doc

You did a nice job on these holsters Pard, I've always admired the four loop, if that top loop if positioned right it will keep your holster snug to the gun belt, and keep it from moving around on you, they look great, I think you will get a lot of good use out of them, by the way that's how I got started in leather, after picking a few new guns, I realized my bun belt had shrunk, and I needed longer holsters, so when I started looking at gun leather and found the the prices had gone to the roof, I decided to learn how to make my own, and Ive been going at it for 3 1/2 years now, so I what I'm saying is this is just the beginning, keep them coming. ::)

Doc, greta looking work. I have to agree with Ten Wolves I really like that 4 loop design. The color came out real nice on both rigs.

Thanks guys.
Been working leather of some sort for some time and holsters for the last 4 years on and off.
These are #8 I think. Every time I get new revolvers I make new holsters weather I need them or not. ;D
I really like the half flap the best.
Been working with stamps lately but have a long way to go.
Two project I want to do are saddle bags [need ideas, and original photos]with basket weave stamping, and toe plugs.
I'll keep an eye on Cowboy316 post for the toe plugs.
Not sure what I want for the belt. I'm fond of the money belt but a simple belt would go well with the 4 loop.

Howdy Outrider, I'm almost scared to ask what a bun belt is, But I guess I will, What's a Bun belt, and no I don't have one  ??? I don't think anyway  ??? :-\ if you mean do I have big buns, I guess I do, my gun belt never drops to my socks if that's what you're talking about. LOL  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :D ;) ;D

Outrider, ole Ten Wolves may have the same problem I do, no buns left to help hold thet belt up.  It warnt a problem when I was a young sprout BUT when the belly gots bigger than the buns, well, a bun belt  just dawnt cut it any more!  Perhaps thats why old city 'wanna be' cowboys like me needed suspenders???
