winchester 108 staynless primers

evenin',just found a package of these primers in my gun stuff. any idea how old.still safe, etc? small case of 1000, equal to l rifle? where could i research these? any help much appreciated!!..................Warren T Upp

If I remember right those are from around the 60's. If they are not soaking wet they should be no problem. I shot some not long ago that were in the same age group and could not see a difference.

Something like these?  They look ok to me, I may resort to shootin mine, but may hold off, they need to age a bit more..<g>

I actually just realized I have some old "Western" headstamped brass, I could make new old ammo..
