I have several Pedersoli's and there quality has always been pretty darned good.
I have an IAB (like the one you ask about) that is really known for being a real PO$ but I have had no troubles with mine. Shot it a LOT. I use paper cartridges that I make up. I make them so that the cartridge holds the boolit in the paper shell, so it is really fast to load.
Clean up is a snap and accuracy is pretty good....I can hit a 18"x24 plate at 500yrds pretty regular with a ladder sight I installed. When I had a tang peep on it a 4 inch plate at 100yrds from the bench was a gimmee'... ditched the peep in favor of the faster ladder and have really enjoyed the little gun. Killed a nice mule deer buck with it a few years ago.
I loaded it "Once" with loose powder...NEVER again! some of the powder got between the gas plate and the action did not seal..

... with the paper it seems to contain most of the powder and I have not had any troubles.
They also make some brass shells that work for these but I have always been to poor to buy them, and the shells take the special 'tie-base" boolit , and the mould is very expensive.
