Howdy gents.
I was looking thru all my books, and I have yet to come across a good pattern for 1911 magazines. Do any of you guys have an idea of where to find one?
I am looking for one that splits two mags, and has the tops open, for Wild Bunch matches.
Thanks.

Here's what I use. It's basically a copy of a WWI pouch without the flap and cut a little lower. I can send you a pattern if you aren't in a hurry. I'll be out of town for a couple weeks.

I like that Will. I will give that one a try, and see what I can do without the pattern. May have to holler at ya later tho.

Any other ideas out there?

Nice rig

Last auto holster I made was for a .455 Webley Auto

We're STILL allowed a few historic type hand-guns over here....

It belongs to a mate, but the gun itself is South of London, I'm just South of Edinburgh - so I told him over the phone how to make a template.
From this and a few pics of original pattern variations I then made up a nice Sam Browne flap holster with attached mag pouch. He said it was so good a fit that the blokes next to him want me to make some more for their Webley Autos too  ;D.

I may be doing seperate mag pouches for it in the future

When I see him/& the holster next I'll try to get some digital snaps of it...

Re; the WW1 US 45 Mag Pouch.... WHERE can I get a supply of the small raised metal, er, raiser? :P that the lower Lift-the-Dot stud attaches to?
Mate here says to buy cheap M1956 pouches & cannibalise...

Other suggestions most welcomed, as I'd prefer NOT to start destroying VN period kit
