NCOWS at the Westside

Today was Westsides shoot they shot 53 shooters and 8 were working cowboys .Over 10 % shot a NCOWS class this is a sign we are on the right track . Westside is where we need to start the next Posse . This is where the NCOWS Embassy will come to play a very important part at the Nationals .

Rowdy, I talked to the cowboy that joined Hiram's Rangers last year at the National. Guess what?? He has 8 Mason ready to join NCOWS at the National and become Hiram's Rangers. Man that's one man that has 8 new member coming. TJ

I and the Captain (Trap) are working on a formal meeting of Hiram's Rangers. The NCOWS national shoot is shaping up to be the largest gathering of Hiram's Rangers to date.  There should be at least 10, plus new inductions.  The tentative plan is to have the first formal "muster" of "Rangers" at 7:00 pm Friday, at the KVC saloon.  This will include induction ceremonies for recruits.  [This is going to be cool.    ]

Well Folks, we set the stages up at West Side today. They are ready for all events (not the mid range shoot) at the National. There is fire wood cut and will be moved close to the primitive camping area. There are two new showers with hot and cold water. The new stage (the Church) is coming along, they worked on it all day. Bucky O'Neill will be getting married at that church. Bucky was the AZ lawman, newspaper man, and Capt. in the Rough Riders. He will be involved in one heck of a shoot out in that church.

West Side cowboys really turned out to help us today. Their help enabled us to finish in record time. They also told us they would be back to weed eat the stages before the National. They would also watch the cowboy town to make sure no one moved the targets. When you see the folks from West Side be sure to thank them. TJ

Dern Bob, WE may double the Rangers Size in one swoop, and get a good boost in members at the same time !!!
