I have a larger one that is about the same. It's sort of a curved, shallow bevel with the deepest part on the inside curve. If you took a round bar or a bolt and filed the center out with a round file then beveled to the outside, you'd have it.

Feathers,
Take no offense to this, because a am a nembie, but the C831 isn't the tool! The 731 has been gone for a long time, I think MW, gave you a good tip, if you can hold out, Tandy is due to have a 50% off on the stamps soon, O would take a P206, and rework it so it will give you the shape you want. If the weather wood get back to normal, Where I could get out of this bed, it wouldn't take much to make that stamp. since I have started to learn to carve, you can't have ebough different sizes of pear shader, so I have started making me some, but I watch a video, that Geirge Hurst used a pear shader that was 1 1/2" long, and so far I have not beeb able to make it!
Like I said Feathers, i wasn't trying to be a smart a$$, and I hope we are still cool!

G'Day Ace,No thats cool, I am new as well & it looks so similar to the tool that cowboy316 asks about that I thought I would try to help out.Feathers

Feathers,
I think you were doing a nice thing! The picture eof the tool in Al's book isn'r very good , put if you, look at how the border looks, it looks like petals  laying over each other, and you get that when you carve you use a pear shader to get that efect, but you have to of used a swivel knife cut. I hope this helps!

Al Stohlman's book is terrific but, yeah, quite a few of the tools don't match the present catalog.

Howdy All
That is a Crowner. It is shaped like a camo but narrow and smooth like a smooth veiner.
