...Well sort of. I gotta go in at 3:30PM and work the 'night shift' The 'night guy' took a vacation day and it was 'my turn'    3:30 to midnight just ain't my style. CRAP...DARN...HECK...

Heck, that ain't the night shift!  That's the PM or afternoon shift.   The night shift runs well into the AM.  Before I retired a worked a rotating shift that changed every nine days.  Only one weekend a month off. 
6:30 am to 2:30 PM,
2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
and 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Now that's tough on a body!

6:30 am to 2:30 PM,    Day Shift  Or Mornings

2:30 PM to 10:30 PM   Night Shift  or Afternoon

and 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM   Graveyard Shift???

I work nights 6pm to 2am....
