Shotgun auto-ejectors?

From NCOWS By Laws: "Various hammerless side-by-side double-barreled or appropriate hammerless or exposed hammer, top-lever break single shot shotguns that retain the characteristics of pre-1899 originals, e.g.: without ventilated ribs, modern recoil pads, white-line spacers, etc."

Are auto-ejectors legal?
When did they appear on SxS and/or single barrels?

Yes they are OK not sure exactly when , but definitely pre '99. jt

If I'm wrong, somebody correct me but in NCOWS, auto-ejectors are not legal. Extractors are but ejectors are not.

I think maybe you're thinking of SASS.
It's my understanding that Trap is exactly right. Ejectors are legal for NCOWS.
I think you'll find that SASS is the one that allows extractors but bans ejectors.
