Will Uberti NMA hammer fit a Pietta NMA?

After handling a couple of Uberti Remington's I can say that they are easier for me to cock than my Pietta.  Looking at pictures of each the hammer spur of the Uberta is much lower (closer to my thumb) than the Pietta.

Does anyone know if I can use a Uberti hammer in my Pietta?

Thanks

No, the Uberti hammer is smaller.  The hammer nose does not mate with the cylinder correctly.

Thanks Pard,

I may pick up another Pietta hammer and take it to the grinder and see what I can do.  From your pic it looks like I could match the Uberti spur pretty well.

Prepare to reharden the hammer face afterwards or it will "mushroom" very shortly.

What is the easiest way to harden the nose of the '58 hammer? I have a little hand held butane torch. Heat up then quench?
Smoke em if ya got em.
