WHAT TYPE OF LEATHER

I'd like to thank yall for the cool comments on my first rig.
I have a question...
What type of lining leather do you guys use on your gun belts
I used pig split for the Tandy kit. The kit didn't come with lining leather.
Just like to know befor I start my from scratch next rig.

I don't line mine. Some pards do but my preference is to not. If I were to put a lining in one, I'd use 4-5 oz skirting, flesh side out so the belt wouldn't slip around.

 I would have to side with the Marshall on the type and weight of leather. And I also don't line my rigs.  What most of the guys seem to do is use a lining with the top leather that equals about 10 oz together.
