Looking for a custom jeweler

I don't know if this is the proper forum or not, but I need to find a jewelerr to make a custom pendant for my wife for our 40th wedding anniversay in July.

I prefer someone local for convenience, but will considerr almost anyone.

Forty years?!? Dang, you are old!

On this one, I'd consult the local yellow pages, then get references and check the references. Also, some of the larger local jewelry stores may have a custom jeweler on-site, but again, I'd check references. When I was growing up, my dad had one who worked out of the local Wilson's. They designed several excellent pieces together. For a time, I had one in Germany who also did great work.

After the 40th Anniversary, you have another one coming:

Can't help you locally there, Forty. But we have several small custom jewelers in town here. A small shop somewheres in your area would be your best bet. You are a romantic old dog, just don't want others to know it...........Buck

Folks, I'm grateful for the help, but I may not have stated myself real clearly.

I have dozens of custom jewelers around.  I sort of wanted a cowboy or cowgirl who does this sort of thing.  I'm not looking for a price break, but I wanted to "keep it in the family" if I could.

I want something cast in sterling or white gold and a stone mounted on it.

NO! I didn't think you would forget a date like that. I was just wonderin if it was the same as my birthday  it ain't. it's on the 29th. I did have my/our wedding anniversary last month on the 24th. Only 32 years....got a ways ta go ta catch up with you
