Made Good Friday Great Friday by driving around  the state and visiting several gunshops , one shop carried  several weapons suitable for CAS, so spent quite a bit of time there as I am looking to finish out my gear, the owner finally took me into the vault  upon hearing my needs and showed me a 66 & a 73 both by uberti, but the 73 was a stoeger, cant rememeber  who imported the 66 cuz soon as the 73 touched my hands there wasnt any other gun  around . Fit and finish on this rifle surpassed those of a couple of Winchester lever guns he had and the action was smooth as glass. Upon returning home I checked the stoeger arms site and they dont have a listing for this rifle . Anyone had any experience with the stoeger 73's ? it also is the cheapest priced 73  I have come across even thru my home FFL.

Stoeger imports Uberti.
NRA LIFE, NCOWS #3270, BLACK POWDER WARTHOG, STORM #254,
DIRTY RATS #411, HENRY #139, PM KEIZER LODGE #219  AF&AM

Major 2

Stoeger is the official  Berreta /Uberti/ Benelli merger USA importer since 07..the gun is most likely date coded [CA] [CB] [CC] or [CD]  for 06, 07, 08 or 09

Uberti's can be stamped Stoeger ( Taylor's, Cimarron & Navy Arms ) still Uberti's, only the importer stamp is different ...There will be a small
A. Uberti stamp also.

Earlier guns might have EMF , Dixie Gun Works , Navy Arms or Allen Arms (early-mid 1980's) , Replicia Arms or no Importer marks at all.
when planets align...do the deal !
