I posted this one on the SASS wire a long time ago, but being the oh-so intelligent individual that I am, I forgot to save the answers.

Like so many others, I use a bounty hunter shotgun, 12 gauge. Sometimes (this is not consistent), if I fire the left barrel first, the right barrel will not fire. I have to break the shotgun open and reclose it in order to fire the right barrel. This never happens with the left barrel if I fire the right barrel first.

Any ideas as to why this happens? I promise I'll copy the answers down this time. Thanks a bunch, and y'all have a good week.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but does anyone know what this is?

I'm having the same issue in reverse...fire the right and then the left won't fire unless you open and close it.

If you fire left then right, it works...

I'm looking at the locking lug, as it was pointed out to me this is a common reason for this issue (ie: if it isn't exactly fully locked up, it may prevent one side from firing).   I was just wondering if someone else resolved this directly and had extra advice.

Thanks!
