What with all the chatter about dimensions, chamber sizes etc I thought I would see if there is anyone using the Chapparral 45-75 brass in their Uberti/Cimarron 76's?

I want to pick some up but want to make sure it will work out ok.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Brass is brass.  Going from one to the other, you just need to resize it with the appropriate dies.

Sir Charles deMouton-Black

I just received 40 pieces of .45-75 brass from MARSTAR in Canada.  I believe it is Chaparral.  The headstamp is "WRA CA" over ".45-75 WCF".

It looks right, and fits my Chapparal NWMP carbine.  However;

The rim thickness is different than my formed .348WCF brass.  It seems about .060" as opposed to .068 for the .348 cases.  What effect will this have on my ammo?
