 Howdy All

WOW it feels  good to have Cas City back up and running, Well that said , A friend of mine hinted about wanting a new belt, something a little fancy, but didn't want to ask, so I said do you want me to make you a belt, and he was relieved, so this is what I came up with, I used some of WC's veg tan leather, and dyed it in my Vinegaroon dye, then added some concho's and a buckle, he wanted some strong snaps on the belt so he could change out buckles when he wanted, I used line #24 snaps, anyway here it is.

Thanks for taking a look see   ::)

Very , very nice work TW. I really like that border, I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't some type of braid.

The main design is also great.  It's amazing how some of you pards can take something that simple and make it look so good.
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

Howdy TW,

Beautiful job! Those old style home brewed dyes really turn a leather piece into a work of art! Your friend will be very proud to wear this. Many thanks for sharing.

Looks nice. Im a big fan of the silver/nickel hardware, I think it always gives the project a distigiushed look. Can you post a little bit brighter picture to see the details better?
Thanks

TW,
I will have to agree with all statements made above, and i must go past that! WC, stated it very well, your artistic ability shows in every peice you make, but I see a flare and a style that is now your own. It takes hard work to copy something, like i do, but you have developed your own style, and it reflects deeply in this belt! this belt shows me, that you have made that big step, you now are a pure artist with your own style, like a great painter , who sets down with a blank canvas and lets his mind release inspiration within!
i am so humble to be your friend, and having you as a Mentor, you keep me going, no matter how bad i do something, you never say a bad thing, you all say words of encouragement!

Later Pard!

Very cool, no doubt. I found that stamp, or one like it, at Oregon Leather a few weeks ago. It's a Hidecrafter, and I really like it. It's an X688. Any chance that's the number of the one you are using? I would find one just like it, only a little smaller. The swivel cut detail is especially nice, as are the conchos. The snaps securing the buckle sure look sharp, as does the buckle and keeper. The color is first rate.

Another inspiring work 10 Wolves, thanks for sharing, JD

Thanks for your kind words, Casio, I'm posting another couple pictures, I hope this will help, JD, I got those stamps at Hide Crafters. LARGE AND SMALL.

Since I posted yesterday, my friend asked if I could put a little more bling on the belt, so I added some spots, so here it is again.
