even for me........

for those who might not recognize what it is - it's a quirt - made from a deer leg, with bark tan "whips", a buffalo rawhide grip wrap, buffalo hair "fringe' at both ends of the grip, and a braintan elkhide wrist strap with a bit of beadwork and some tin cone tinklers.

My inspiration - an original that I came across on the net some time back but without the fancies......

Seriously, I got to thinking about making a quirt. This is a really wonderful idea, Chuck. Very unique.

Glad ya'll enjoyed the look see!
As a full maker I suppose one could say I get a bit "jaded" with my own work (being my own worst critic I know every boo boo in a piece and i'M often making the same thing over and over more or less anyway so....), but every once in a while a piece will just tickle me pink! This one sure did!
