El Paso said it would take appx 8 weeks to get to my rig...then,,,today,,,two weeks and one day from the time I ordered over the phone.... IT CAME ! Now that is the kinda surprise I can learn to LOVE !,,,

I am blown alway by the quality of leather, the sturdy and neat workmanship,,,over-alll,,its a kick butt rig...

I'd love to show you all pics,,but alas, my digi'camera ,,,last week,,expired and went to the Boot Hill for electronics. I'll pass along an image soon as I can come up with a new camera.

I got this rig for a 4 3/4 SA Model P for now...and boy does it ever ride wonderfully. I got it for double duty,,daily carry,,and for 'shooting events',,and I think when I shoot competition,,,I may end up adding a Cheyenne holster to this rig,,esp since I shoot one 4 3/4 and one 7 1/2" each SAA.

I am totally impressed with El Paso,,,quality, talent and customer care....I'd go,,and will go,,back to El Paso in the future.

Boy aint you lucky!

I got mine about 2months ago & it took right at 8wks to get.

It is a great rig!!

Last one I got I bought something (cant remember what) that I put inside the holster thack slicked it up some.

Anyone know what might be good to use?

Much obliged!

It's nice to hear satisfied customers. Good service is what will bring more business. Glad you both have been treated well.

I've heard about some pards using something, but I can't recall what it is. I don't put anything in my holsters to slick them up. I just do a good job of wet molding them and call it good. If they are slightly sticky, that will  loosen up with use.

There was a company selling holsters that were slicked with silicone. Seems a harsh chemical to put on leather. Maybe beeswax?

I am not going to suggest it, but one of our State Champs uses Pam cooking spray in his. Butter flavored. I have seen others use spray silicone. It did make his very slick, but I dont know what the long  term effects would be.
