I have been trying to get a long barreled shotgun with hammers and choke tubes . I haven't had much success
know I have found shotguns with barrels up to 30 inches long but the outfit only wants to import the 20 inch guns .
I know the hunters want a 26 ,28 inch and by having the choke tubes you are extremely versatile . I am trying to get the people to speak up what barrel length would you like , Is this something you want . Don't hold back tell me what you think .

Howdy Rowdy,
I vote with Trap with one addition, tell the people who sell the 20 inchers to hurry it up and sell the 26 - 28 inchers.
Respectfully of course, ;D

Well, as long as you put it THAT way, how about selling just the longer barrels?  ;D ;D

I don't need any more shotguns -- I already have five -- but I'd love to have a set of longer barrels for my TTN.  How about, say, a 26-inch with Modified/Full chokes.  It should be a snap for any reasonably competent gunsmith, or handy person, to fit them to an existing TTN receiver.

The long barreled guns aren't TTN . They are still saying they have 26 inch guns on the way ?
This is another outfit .They offer 24,26,28,30 in barrels . With hammers and choke tubes .

Try TR Imports in Southlake, Texas.  He imports a Turkish Huglu with hammers and long barrels.  Pretty decent quality gun but is more expensive than the TTN.

The shotguns I found are Baikal mp43kh but since there no longer with Remington who imports them .
I called EAA and they are only going to import the short barrels . I want a 28 inch ( 725 mm ) barrel .

I called Cimarron this afternoon and they said there LONG barreled (26 inch ) will be here in June . So if you want one you better call them and put your name on the list . As far as the other guns I have spent 2 days on the phone and computer and I can't get a straight answer from anyone . I would hate to wait for years on a promise . So the TTN's are on the slow boat will be here in June .

Myself, I would want either a 26 or 28 inch barrel, with the nod going to the 26 although a lot of English guns split it at 27.  I would want it without screw-ins, I don't like them.

I'd want it to come with about 0.030 constriction in both barrels, this would put it around Full and Full with modern loads.  The plan would be to hone out the right barrel to about 0.010 and the left to about 0.015, this would make it pretty much at Skeet and IC with shells using card wads or similar to a Model 12 Winchester Skeet gun from long ago.  This would be about IC and a weak modifed with plastic wads.  Also would be about modified and full with steel shot.

What you would have is an about perfect up-land gun for most use, the option of tightning things up a bit for late season pheasants and doves plus about right for ducks over decoys.

I think the first batch of long barrels will be  fixed chokes not the tubes .If what I got from cimarron was right they will be 26 inch barrels and come with a full /modified . So if you don't want tubes here ya go .

Do we know what the price will Be? Have they gone up with the falling dollar?

Fellows, got an e-mail today from Chris Ballard of Cimarron Arms. He indicated that the 26 inchers would come with choke tubes. They are looking at late June of this year. TJ  :D

I called Chris at Cimarron this morning  . As far as the price they don't know at this time . And yes they are going to put choke tubes in them . Sorry  Del I told you wrong . Who will be the first person to get one   ???? There is only 200 in the first lot so if your interest call and put your name on the list .

Important : when you call Cimarron talk to Chris he is the person who is in charge of this project .

Well I have a few years till one of the grandkids is old enough to hunt.  My plan is to convert over to the darkside for my hunting and let the kids hunt with my 870 28 ga that I love/hate.  Been putting up with it for almost 32 years. ;D

I most likely will run across one to rehab before then,  BTW curious, what is the weight on one of them, longer barrels won't add much over a 20 inch one.

It don't have long bbls, but I just got 1 of the CZ-Hammered (Huglu) coach guns. Beautiful piece of work. I wonder if any of the hammerless series barrels would be compatible?
